The General Ledger module of IMAS will maintain accurate and up-to-date
financial records for your business. It can be interfaced with other IMAS
modules to free your accounting staff for more profitable activities. FEATURES: Multiple Ledgers: General Ledger provides for multiple ledgers within the one general ledger. Each ledger is identified by a unique combination of accounting level 1 and accounting level 2 codes. You can mix multiple and single ledgers. For example, many companies find the combination of a single ledger for balance sheet accounts and multiple ledgers for profit and loss accounts very useful. Accounting periods: General Ledger allows great flexibility in the selection of accounting periods. You can: · Post to past or future accounting periods, or process late transactions. · Choose the number and length of your own accounting periods. · Hold open up to six past accounting periods, even over year end. Journals: The module can record: · General journals · Standing journals · Constant journals · Auto-reversing journals · Interface journals Budgets: The module allows 99 budget revision levels to be stored for each year. You can see how your company is performing against budget. Reports: General Ledger provides detailed, summary and consolidated formats for trial balance reports, profit and loss statements, balance sheets and source and application of funds statements. You can produce financial reports for any past or future period at any time. |
